Are you looking for something FUN to do?

A great TEAM BUILDING morale booster for your employees/club members?

A FEEL GOOD opportunity?

If so, consider taking part in a community-wide volunteer initiative to exemplify what matters by joining hundreds of community volunteers to do meaningful, worthwhile projects at local health and human service agencies, parks, schools, libraries, etc, that otherwise might not get done.

Day of Caring
events have inspired thousands of volunteers across the country and this is the second year United Way of the Inland Valleys is organizing such an event in each of the regions it serves in Riverside County (Southwest County, Perris, Moreno Valley, Riverside, and the Pass Area). We know that participants are positively affected by the fulfilling experience volunteering delivers. Last year, 650 volunteers with representatives from 50 company and community organizations participated in accomplishing 43 projects!

Day of Caring
projects range from adding a fresh coat of paint, creating a garden, room makeovers and hair styling for abused children; holding a linen drive for a substance recovery center, building shelves, organizing a toy closet, handing out food at a food bank, and more. Partnering together on a community service project enhances employee communication, team-building skills and your organizations public image. Most of all, it just feels good!
