Give. Advocate. Volunteer. Live United!
Here is a viable pathway to recovery from our economic ills. But first, just as a patient sometimes needs a shot in the arm to begin recovery, we are proposing a shot in the armfor our community
.

2009 will be the toughest year since the Great Depression, and as we all know, our Riverside region has been among the hardest hit.

We are a proud nation but extraordinary times call for people with extraordinary vision.

Its time for heroes again

Our nation needs a hand up, not a hand out.

The WON Campaign is designed to meet the immediate emergency needs in our community. The United Way is partnering with six agencies that areprepared to respond to the immediate needs and to get the money to work right away in the community:

  • Arlington Temporary Assistance
  • Casa Blanca Home of Neighborly Service
  • Catholic Charities
  • Salvation Army Riverside Corps
  • Second Harvest Food Bank
  • Lutheran Social Services

These partner agencies are on the front lines of providing service and they need all of our help.

This is a time for heroes again
will you be a hero for our community?
