A Message FRoM OUR Chair:

I have had the pleasure of being involved with this United Way for many years in various capacities. This year, I have the extreme honor of chairing our very dedicated board in the early stages of what will be an exciting transformation for our organization. The entire team volunteers and staff alike –are more committed than ever to raising and investing more dollars in our community. Together we are eager to take this organization from “Good to Great”.

As part of this transformation, we have adopted a new Vision Statement, “Because Community Matters, United Way of the Inland Valleys is committed to being leader in facilitating a proactive culture of responsiveness to improve the quality of life in our communities in a United Way”.

All of us that volunteer for United Way of the Inland Valleys as well as our many partner agencies have a unique opportunity to make a difference in our community that will have an effect that spans generations. I invite each of you to consider joining our team, either as a financial contributor, a member of our citizen review teams, a participant in one of our community initiatives or as a fundraiser. After all, we all have the responsibility to make our community a better place to live.

Thank you in advance for your commitment to the United Way of the Inland Valleys. Together we can transform our future …. Because Community Matters.
