DONATE NOW FOR IMMEDIATE RELIEF THROUGH THE RED CROSS

The need in Haiti is desperate. Our region has always stepped up to help in times of crisis.  

The American Red Cross is the lead organization for disaster response and it is crucial that all of us help rally our community around this need in a timely fashion and that we provide opportunities for individuals and organizations to help. Please forward this email to all of your friends, coworkers, and family.

The International Red Cross has set up a Haiti Disaster Relief Fund to get help to the affected area right away.  While there are many options for making donations to this effort, including our own fund to help with long term recovery, UWIV is joining other community organizations in recommending immediate donations to the Red Cross to get funds and resources into the disaster area without the delays of going through too many agents.

There are several easy ways you can make a donation to the American Red Cross International Response Fund. Donors can designate their gifts to Haiti relief:
