Grow with us
If you have always wanted to volunteer, but are unavailable on weekends or evenings, this may be the perfect opportunity for you.
We love what we do at United Way because we have the chance to impact people’s lives by funding wonderful programs at schools and local non-profit organizations. We want to give YOU the same opportunity to be a part of this joyful process.
United Way needs people like YOU to become Volunteer Grant Reviewers and to join the Community Impact Committee.
Volunteer Grant Reviewer
A volunteer grant reviewer is someone who brings their diverse perspective to help shape how United Way awards funds to local nonprofit organizations.
Volunteer Grant Reviewers help the Community Impact Committee make funding recommendations to the Board of Directors. Using United Way guidelines, reviewers commit to effective and timely reviews of up to 8 impact or capacity grants each year.
Community Impact Committee
The Community Impact Committee is a group of passionate community volunteers who are committed to the growth and sustainability of local programs that serve children, families, and our neighbors in need. Community Impact Committee Members commit to monthly meetings for one-year renewable terms. Community Impact Committee Members help
