Our Military Personnel are in need of some basic supplies.  Here are some recommendations. Please contact Valerie Fioretta directly at the Airman and Family Readiness Center at March ARB, 951.655.5322/DSN 447.4322; e-mail:  [email protected]

AFRC Mission:

"Provide targeted Airmen and Family support and services, contributing to the mission readiness, resiliency, and well-being of the Air Force community".

#1.  Gift cards/VISA cards for $20.00 (I can give these to clients who come in for financial assistance.  Since Reserve members do not qualify for Air Force Aid Society loans, I have no other resources for them.  If I had these cards, members could use them for gas and food---the necessities.)

#2.  Gas Cards ($20.00). For the same reasons as I stated above, but they would have to be used for gas for their cars.

#3.  Phone Cards. These would be given out to deploying personnel so they could keep in touch with their families.

#4.  Toiletry Kits.  This was my idea, but my staff did not like it. Toiletry kits could be given out at two venues; to Newcomers at the Wing Newcomers'  briefing (hosted by our office) and to those deploying at the pre-deployment briefing (given by our office). Kits can contain basics like toothbrush, toothpaste, mouthwash, dental floss, soap, hand sanitizer, a comb, etc.
