A Time for Caring
Neighbor
to Neighbor
The nurses from Ramona Visiting Nurse Association
and Hospice make a difference in the lives of new mothers
and babies, like Christian. The nurses play a crucial role
in the first days of the babys life. Their role is to
assess and educate new mothers about physical health, mental
health, and developmental health for themselves and their
baby.
Michelle said, "It is great to have help
from the Ramona Visiting Nurse Association and
Hospice. The health education
and care Christian and I received are valuable to both of
us."
Ramona Visiting Nurse Association and Hospice
established the maternal/infant program in 1995 due to the
increased need for mother and infant after-care and education.
Together United Way and Ramona Visting Nurse Association
and Hospice help provide good, healthy starts for new
moms and their babies.
Your gift to United Way is caring
