2007 UNITED WAY CAMPAIGN CO-CHAIRS AND
EXECUTIVE CABINET READY FOR FALL CAMPAIGN


(Riverside, California)— Gene Reynolds, Assistant Vice President, The Merit Companies, and Michael Goldware, Attorney-at-Law, Law Office of Michael Goldware, have been appointed Co-Chairs of the 2007 United Way of the Inland Valleys’ Campaign.

Michael Goldware said, “Without United Way, many in our communities would not receive the attention and services to improve their lives. If ‘community matters’, then we can…and must…all help.” Gene Reynolds continued with, “Community does matter! We need to raise money to fund health and human care services right here where we live and work. There is no greater or nobler cause than this.”

The Campaign Cabinet is comprised of local business and community leaders who coordinate fundraising activities for United Way. The 2007 Campaign Cabinet members include: Lisa A. Conyers, Ph.D., Vice President of Educational Services, Moreno Valley Campus, Riverside Community College District; Matt Friedlander, Internet Sales Manager, Enterprise Rent-A-Car/Car Sales; Cynthia Hinkley, Ph.D., Director, County of Riverside DPSS; Craig Lambdin, Executive Director, MFI Recovery Center, Inc.; Jean McClellan, Ed.D.; Larry Rubio, Chief Executive Officer, Riverside Transit Agency; Jim Smith, Owner, Jim Smith Automotive; Larry Ward, County Clerk Recorder; Art Welch, Field Representative, Assemblyman Paul Cook; Tammy Wilson, MFT, Executive Director, Olive Crest Treatment Centers, Inc.; and Paul Woerz, Vice President Human Resources, Riverside Community Hospital.

United Way of the Inland Valleys supports over 90 programs and services, serving residents of Greater Riverside, Moreno Valley, Temecula, Banning, Beaumont, Cherry Valley, Canyon Lake, Cabazon, Glen Avon, Jurupa, Lake Elsinore, Mira Loma, Murrieta, Pedley, Rubidoux, Wildomar, and Perris.
