$56,904 IN SEED GRANT FUNDS NOW AVAILABLE FROM UNITED WAY
United Way of the Inland Valleys has $56,904 in Seed Grant funds available to 501(c)(3) non-profit, non-governmental health or human service organizations.
The funds are for new or expanded programs serving residents
within the United Way of the Inland Valleys service area that
specifically address these Identified Regional Priority Needs
-- Affordable Child Care; Basic Subsistence and Economic Stability;
Child/Youth at Risk; Community Organizations and Development;
Developmental and Physical Disabilities; Disaster; Domestic
Violence, Child Abuse, Crime Victim Assistance; Elder Care
and Elder Abuse; Family Stability and Parenting Skills; Health
Care/Supportive Services; Illiteracy; Legal and Civil Rights;
Mental Health Education and Treatment; Outreach/Information
and Referral; Substance Abuse; Transportation; and Youth Development
through Extracurricular Activities. Evaluation will include
program accessibility to clients.
The deadline to submit a completed concept paper is January
19, 2006 by 4 P.M. Selected agencies will be invited to submit
a more comprehensive grant application after initial screening.

local community agencies and organizations since 1931. United
Way of the Inland Valleys currently supports over 90 programs
and services, serving residents of Moreno Valley Region; Pass
Region (Banning, Beaumont, Cabazon, Cherry Valley); Tri-Communities
(Lake Elsinore, Canyon Lake, Quail Valley, Wildomar); Temecula/Murrieta
Region; Perris Valley Region; Jurupa/Mira Loma/Rubidoux/Glen
Avon/ Pedley Region and Riverside Region.
