UNITED WAY CAMPAIGN VICTORY
CELEBRATION ANNOUNCED
(Riverside, California)— The 2004 United
Way of the Inland Valleys Campaign Victory Celebration will
be held on Thursday, March 17 at The Hap Arnold Club at March
Air Reserve Base at 11:15 a.m. The top campaigns and companies
will be honored at the luncheon, as well as the announcement
of the 2004 campaign results.
“Campaign Celebration is always a festive event, and
I believe this year will be particularly memorable.”
said campaign co-chair Larry Rubio, Riverside Transit Agency.
“We celebrate the generosity of those who donate so
those in need can be helped. There is no higher calling.”
“We have a lot of great volunteers, and the results
being reported are exciting.” added co-chair Greg Brown,
Banco Popular. “We look forward to honoring everyone
who did a great job this year.”
The goal for the 2004 campaign was $4,365,000. For the past
ten years, the actual campaign results have increased over
those of the previous year. The 2003 total raised was $4,257,000.
The Victory Celebration luncheon cost is $25.00 per person
or $150.00 for a table of eight. Please RSVP by Friday, March
