$55,640 IN SEED GRANT FUNDS NOW AVAILABLE FROM UNITED
WAY
United Way of the Inland Valleys has $55,640 in Seed Grant
funds available to 501(c)(3) non-profit, non-governmental
health or human service organizations.
The funds are for new or expanded programs serving residents
within the United Way of the Inland Valleys service area that
specifically address these identified regional priority needs
- Affordable child care; Basic subsistence and economic stability;
Family stability and parenting skills; Health care and supportive
services; Mental health education and treatment; Outreach,
information and referral service; Substance abuse treatment;
and Transportation. Evaluation will include program accessibility
to clients.
The deadline to submit a concept paper is February 3, 2005
by 4 p.m. Selected agencies will be invited to submit a more
comprehensive grant application after initial screening. For

United Way of the Inland Valleys has been serving Western
Riverside County through programs and services provided by
local community agencies and organizations since 1931. United
Way of the Inland Valleys currently supports over 80 programs
and services, serving residents of Greater Riverside, Moreno
Valley, Temecula, Banning, Beaumont, Cherry Valley, Canyon
Lake, Cabazon, Glen Avon, Jurupa, Lake Elsinore, Mira Loma,
Murrieta, Pedley, Rubidoux, Wildomar, and Perris. For more
