STARBUCKS
MAKES A MARK WITH A DAY OF CARING FOR UNITED WAY
April 8, 2003 (Banning,
CA) Starbucks Coffee employees and customers joined to raise $1,000 for
United Way of the Inland Valleys.

Coffee hosted Make Your Mark with a Day of Caring for United Way
of the Inland Valleys
on Saturday, March 22.
More than 60 Starbucks Coffee
partners (employees), their families, and customers donated
over 180 volunteer hours to raise $1,000 for United
Way.
City of Banning employees also participated in the
day of cleanup, coffee, and community building.
After a high-octane
breakfast of Starbucks coffee and pastries the volunteers picked up two tons
of trash and 23 pounds of recyclable materials.

and rewards its employees for making positive contributions
to their community.
