EVENT SCHEDULE |

7:00AM - 8:00AM REGISTRATION
Check-in at the registration booth for breakfast & to pick up your Live United/DOC t-shirt(s).

8:00AM RALLY
Rally at the kick-off site!
|
|
8:30AM - 12:00PM PROJECTS
Teams go to project sites and complete projects between 8:30-12pm.
|
|
12:00PM CONCLUSION/LUNCH
Return to kick-off site for lunch, entertainment, recognition & fun!

REGISTRATION & VOLUNTEER INFORMATION
Teams must pre-register by completing the Southwest Region Day of Caring Volunteer Registration form online. Once registration is reviewed, you or your Team Leader will be contacted to pick a project from a list compiled by United Way. Other projects must be approved by United Way. Participants under age 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Each volunteer must complete & sign a Liability/Photo Release Form to participate in event. Each volunteer will receive a Live United/Day of Caring t-shirt* to wear while doing their project.
* Download, print & sign release form, then turn it in at the registration booth on that day.
* T-shirts only guaranteed for volunteers registered by the deadline.
PROJECT REQUEST INFORMATION
To submit a project complete the Southwest Project Request Form. Projects must be submitted by August 1, 2010. Submit as many projects as you like but you must complete a form for each project. With each project submission, you will receive an automated email from United Way letting you know your application was successfully submitted for review. All projects are subject to the review and evaluation by the Day of Caring Committee. Once your project is approved you will be contacted by your Region's event coordinator or UWIV staff.
